Loving the teal print on black. The powder coating is very durable and has a slight texture to it. The metal (black) knobs are a little oversized and a great compliment visually and in usage. The "DRV MOD 2" is just a P-touch sticker (which I often use), but feel free to take it right off if you prefer!

This mod of DRV that uses a considerably larger input cap (for more low end) (this is very noticeable), and a hybrid clipping section using two different "secret" diodes. Just kidding, they aren't secret, but it does sound very good. It's huge, warm, and also the most aggressive circuit that I've ever done. I find that using the bat41 and LED clipping together creates a very loud and punchy sound that also has a bit more midrange grit than just LED clipping by itself.

It DOOMS etc, but is also a very nice sound at low gain!

I'd put this somewhere between a standard circuit and the bass mod. This will sound good on bass or guitar, but will have sort of a middle ground low-end frequency pass through.

The modified DRV circuit sounds much more aggressive than anything I've ever done. Tons of low end thump. It actually gets cleaner than a standard DRV at the lowest gain settings, and gets more and more aggressive the more you turn up the gain. It is really very cool.

I'd really say that the only thing I notice that you lose from the standard DRV, is that the low end isn't quite as tight on palm mutes. You can still make this version tight, but it isn't as tight (if that makes sense).

This is a high quality and unique distortion pedal in sound and design. To me, this circuit really shines in the lower gain stages, and has a lot of clarity and character. One of my favorite sounds is zero gain, barely clipping clean, but I also love the middle range of the gain knob, all the way up to nearly fuzz! Sounds cool to open the CUT knob all the way!

I've had some genius help with this circuit. Originally engineered and designed by Jon Ashley of Bondi Effect, it has been redesigned and engineered by John Snyder of Electronic Audio Experiments (who also did the LVL circuit). Both are friends and geniuses. I see this version as an improvement in every way. It's quieter (less noise), more efficient, and can also run at 9v or 18v.

Internal switch to select true-bypass (almost always worse, but sometimes better!)

These pedals (from this batch) will be hand assembled by me in Nashville, TN.

Runs on 9-18v standard (boss style) power. I’m lowering my international shipping rate. I realize that tariffs are a drag. While I can’t control what governments do, I have made my shipping more efficient and I’m passing on the savings straight to you! Shipping through UPS Expedited (unless otherwise requested).
