To me, this circuit really shines in the lower gain stages, and has a lot of clarity and character. One of my favorite sounds is zero gain, barely clipping clean, but I also love the middle range of the gain knob, all the way up to nearly fuzz! Instead of trying to exactly copy the original circuit, I decided to make some changes.
