Ok, so I’ve not made this an official release, but I was messing around with this circuit for a buddy, and tried it with GERMANIUM diodes, and man, it is awesome sounding on bass guitar. Really rips, punches, etc

Using NOS 1N34A germanium diodes, are these the magical ones? You decide. Is this a mythical pedal? This is an extremely “professional” variation of the DRV, and the first variation to offer this spec. Just to be clear, this will not make the DRV circuit sound “more like another pedal”, but is a great sounding variation, and I think of it as a nice little homage. Straight class. This is only a tribute.

This enclosure will be raw aluminum, and I think this one is my favorite. Each unit will look slightly different. I’m leaning toward no coating, but may end up using a very light matte clear coat. I kinda like the idea of each one wearing in uniquely.

Red LED for accuracy

These pedals (from this batch) will be hand assembled by Jack and I, in Nashville, TN.

Comes with a 1981 Inventions sticker, and a limited edition hand drawn DRV manual.

Runs on 9v standard (boss style) power, the germanium diodes are best suited for 12v or less.

Battery clip or power supply is not included. An isolated power supply is recommended.
